This website is operated by Techy Business Services Limited, trading as Your Local Web Designer, registered in England and Wales under company number 09141085. Our registered address is 41 Illett Way, Horsham, West Sussex RH12 0AJ.

When we refer to "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean Techy Business Services Limited. When we refer to "you", we mean any visitor to yourlocalwebdesigner.co.uk.

2. What data we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you:

• Fill in our free mockup request form (name, email, business name, business type, town, website URL, differentiator, how you heard about us)
• Submit our contact form (name, email, subject, message)
• Email or call us directly

We also collect anonymised analytics data via Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymisation enabled), collecting page views, session duration, device type, and traffic source. This does not identify you personally.

3. How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Respond to your enquiry and deliver your free mockup
• Provide web design and ongoing services to you as a client
• Send service-related updates (e.g. your site is live, your invoice is ready)
• Improve this website using aggregated analytics data

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails. We will only contact you about services you have enquired about.

4. Our lawful basis

Under UK GDPR, our lawful basis for processing your data is legitimate interests (responding to your enquiry) and contract (if you become a client). Analytics data is processed under a legitimate interest to improve our website.

5. How long we keep your data

Enquiry data: we keep this for up to 24 months in case you return. Client data: we keep this for 7 years for accounting and legal purposes. You can request deletion at any time (see section 7).

6. Cookies

We use minimal cookies. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to measure site usage. These are anonymised. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing cookies. Your cookie choices are respected.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data (the "right to be forgotten")
• Object to processing in certain circumstances
• Request restriction of processing
• Lodge a complaint with the ICO (ico.org.uk)
